Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Content Writer to join our team at a service-based software company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, relevant, and informative content for our social media channels. You will play a critical role in enhancing our brand presence, attracting potential clients, and supporting our overall marketing strategy by writing content that highlights our software services, industry insights, and current IT trends.
Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Content Creation:
• Develop, write, and edit compelling content for various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others.
• Craft content that effectively communicates our software products, services, and industry insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends and implement best practices to enhance content quality and engagement.
• SEO and Content Optimization:
• Create content that is optimized for search engines by integrating relevant keywords, phrases, and SEO best practices.
• Work closely with the SEO team to ensure that social media content supports overall SEO strategy and improves online visibility.
• Newsletter and Webinar Content:
• Write and curate content for company newsletters that provide value to our subscribers and encourage engagement.
• Develop content for webinars, including promotional material, scripts, and follow-up content, tailored for our website and LinkedIn.
• Industry Trends and Hot Topics:
• Monitor and research current IT issues, trends, and emerging technologies to create timely and relevant content.
• Write posts that address hot topics in the software and technology sectors, positioning our brand as a thought leader in the industry.
• Content Calendar Management:
• Plan and manage a content calendar that ensures a consistent and timely stream of content across all social media platforms.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align content with product launches, marketing campaigns, and industry events.
• Audience Engagement:
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Foster relationships with key influencers and industry leaders through strategic social media interactions.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze the performance of social media content using analytics tools.
• Report on key metrics such as engagement, reach, and follower growth, and use data insights to optimize future content strategies.
• Collaboration and Creative Input:
• Work closely with the design team to produce visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia elements.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and goals.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media content writing, preferably in the software or technology industry.
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a service-based business.
• Skills:
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, SEO principles, and current digital marketing trends.
• Ability to create content that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience writing content related to B2B services, software, or technology.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn marketing and content strategies for professional audiences.
